About Us

We are a family run equestrian centre and livery yard situated just outside Camolin Village in the beautiful county of Wexford. We have an adorable collection of horse and ponies which are used for pleasure riding, showjumping, dressage and hunting during the winter season.

We have stabling facilities for 50 horses and we can provide different levels of livery services depending on your needs and of course your horses needs. We have a state of the art Horse Walker which livery clients have use of.

We also have a two large all weather outdoor arenas which contains a large amount of special soft rubber filling for the comfort of both the horses and riders.

The Byrne family bring generations of experience in breeding, training and riding sports horses to the operation of their equestrian centre and professional help and adivce is always on hand. All of our horses and ponies have been personally selceted by Alma or Michael to ensure each of our ponies are well schooled so you can have a safe pleasureable experience.

Instructor - Jillie Rodgers BHS I

Jillie is a Chief Assessor for the BHS (British Horse Society) Examinations from Instructor level down to Stage 1 exams. She examines here in Ireland and in Britain. Jillie is a Pony Club Instructor preparing student for their A Test and examining at H Test Stable Management.

Jillie is also employed by the Association of Irish Riding Establishments (AIRE) as one of the 3 Advisors/Inspectors. She freelances throughout the South East of Ireland.

Instructor - Anna Trinder BHS II

Anna is here working in Ireland and training towards her BHS I qualification. Anna has recently joined the team at Butterfly Farm having spent 18 months at Brampton work for Jenny Ward BHS I who is a List 1 British Dressage Judge and International Dressage Rider.

Anna has a law degree and also spent 4 year working in London for an advertising agency so she enjoys the business and marketing side to developing a riding centre too. Anna started riding with Jillie when she was eleven years old and the story continues to this day!
